Our organization focuses on three areas: education, professional workforce, and awareness. We aim to support students, parents, educators, people in the workplace, and employers, all while raising awareness about the challenges disabled people face (particularly women).
Support Students, Parents and Educators
We provide students with the necessary means and resources to assist them in achieving the best educational outcome. Our website provides students with the following: tips, accommodation help, leading universities, educator best practices, and disability forms. The website also serves as a guide for both parents and educators in enabling disabled students to thrive in their academic setting.
Support Employees and Employers
Abled+ focuses on enabling an equal workforce for disabled individuals. We provide the following to achieve success: workforce tips, job search and leading employers (what to look for, jobs well suited for specific disabilities, job search tips), employer best practices, and disability form.
Awareness
Ultimately, we strive to raise awareness about the challenges disabled people face in both academics and the workforce. Increasing awareness not only educates the general public but also enables a safe place and welcoming world for disabled individuals.
